To walk where true genius resided.
Tested Travel visited the Einstein House in Bern. The space is at once ordinary and awe inspiring.
Albert Einstein lived in Bern from 1903 to 1905 and developed his Theory of Relativity here. Einstein came to Bern in 1902 and took a post at the federal patent office. He and his wife had a modest 3rd floor apartment in central Bern (in what is now the heart of the UNESCO World Heritage Site) and raised a family here.
Today the house is decorated along the sytle of the Einstein family and contains wonderful biographic and historic dispalys.
Well worth the visit!
