A big dose of pop culture fun!

Located on the same site as the Seattle Space Needle and the Chihuly Garden and Glass, Tested Travel stopped by the Museum of Pop Culture thinking it was a good way to spend a few minutes while we waited for our time to go up the Space Needle.  We were so wrong!  We not only spent a few minutes there, we spent a few hours!  Some of our favorite spots include:

Prince Exhibit

The Museum has a wonderful homage to Prince -- his history, music, music videos, movies, and legacy.  A really fantastic review of all things Prince!

Horror Movie Exhibit

Not for the faint of heart...... but a fun walk down scary memory lane.  The Museum has memorabilia from classic horror movies as well as modern-day scream-fests.

Music Experience

On the top floor, there is a large space with instruments you can play.  The instruments have headphones (really helpful so that you can jam out in peace) and most are accompanied by computer screens that help you learn how to play rock 'n roll.

Seattle Grunge Exhibit

There is a really fantastic review of the history, evolution, musical stars, writers, and producers of the late 1980s-early 1990s Seattle grunge scene.

Make sure to give yourself plenty of time to really enjoy this spot!
