Any trip to Orkney will likely include a stop in Kirkwall. The largest town and the capital of Orkney, it is the main ferry dock and bus depot for all kinds of great spots on mainland Orkney.
Tested Travel wandered around town to find the perfect lunch spot. Kirkwall has plenty of places to get some fine fish and chips and other local favorites.
We were pleased to come across Indian Garden. Intrigued by the prospect of Indian food in this remote locale, we were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. We sampled tasty curries and biryanis. The food was delicious and the service prompt.
