Quaint and off the busy main streets
Tested Travel's quick trip to Locarno included a stay at the quaint Hotel dell' Angelo.
Homey Rooms
Hotel dell' Angelo has hotel rooms, easyrooms, and a residenze. Tested Travel stayed in the main hotel. The rooms are small and spare, but provide everything a traveler needs for a comfortable stay. Travel with two adults and two children can present challenges to finding a room to accommodate the whole family. Hotel dell' Angelo's quadruple room was just perfect for our needs.
Lovely Location
Located at the far end of the Piazza Grande, the hotel is a short 10 minute walk from the train station and an even shorter 7-minue walk to the lake-side pomenade. Hotel dell' Angelo is nicely located off the hustel and bustel, but not too far from the main attractions. The hotel is located right near a run of shops and restaurants and quite close to the archeological museum and film festival. It is also quite close to a grocery store (Coop) which is very convenient for picking up picnic supplies.
The hotel has breakfast, a dining room as well as a bar.
