Beauty, movement, and emotion. There is a lot contained in glass!
Tested Travel wandered around the incredible Chihuly Garden and Glass museum for several hours. On the same site as the Seattle Space Needle and the Museum of Pop Culture, this is a lovely oasis in the midst of tourist crush.
The museum introduces you to the history and artistry of Washington native Dale Chihuly. His work is magical and situated on tables, hung from ceilings, and in the dirt. It is found in indoor and outdoor spaces and under glass domes. There is also a glassblowing studio with artists providing instruction as well as a cafe. They have a free audio tour that you can download to your phone which adds a lot of great detail.
A fantastic visit!
