Tested Travel had the opportunity to stay at the Hilton Euston hotel while attending a meeting in London. Located in a converted, Victorian-era building, this hotel had charm and convenience.
- Location — located a 2-minute walk to Euston station and 15-minute walk to Kings Cross station, this hotel is very convenient to a range of transportation options. The Hilton Euston is also about a 10-minute walk to Covent Garden. While a healthy walk to major London attractions, you can get to the London Tower by a 15-minute taxi ride.
- Sleeping Room — traditional, small European-style rooms. A single offers just offers just enough room for a bed and desk, and en-suite bathroom. While small, the room was neat and clean and offered a bit of charm (sloped ceiling in the bathroom, for example). And, honestly, when you are in London how much time are you spending in your room anyway?
- Dining — the Hilton Euston offers quite a robust breakfast with eggs, sausage, sweets, fruit and yogurt. Tested Travel especially appreciated being offered complimentary breakfast on the morning of arrival even before our room was ready. Very hospitable! We also took advantage of the lobby bar where we enjoyed a glass of wine and some soup. The perfct light dinner. Good to note that there are a number of restaurants within walking distance of the htel, as well.
- Service — the staff of the Hilton Euston were friendly and accommodating. They helped to arrange transportion and made dinning suggestions.
