Tested Travel loved staying at Hotel Mediterraneo.
Located outside of the bustling historic city center and harbor, Hotel Mediterraneo was a beautiful oasis we did not want to leave!
Located at the top of a hill, the hotel (and many of the rooms) has commanding views of the water. Our room had spectacular views and was large enough for a family of 4 (not common in many European hotels).
The open, white marble entry has a luxurious, but not stuffy, feel. The rooftop restaurant provided a robust breakfast with an unbeatable view!
The pool was an absolute delight even in the offseason (we visited in October). And, you can quickly get to the beach by crossing the street and taking a tunnel to a staircase down to the sand. A bit of an adventure!
The hotel offers a shuttle to the city center and harbor making getting around town easy.
