Piazza Tasso is the primary square of Sorrento. This busy hub is full of cafes, restaurants and shops.
The main thoroughfare of Corso Italia has lots of clothing shops and cafes. Be sure to wander some of the side streets!
But, there is more to Piazza Tasso than shopping and eating!
The main square is home to the Baroque Church del Carmine. On the square stands a statue of S. Antonino Abbate. Also near Piazza Tasso is the Palazzo Correale, which has been converted to Museum Correale. The museum is a fascinating mix of art, archaeological items, and the history of the Correale family.
